I was watching the movie 'Uzak' directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan. It is an award wining movie and it is the second time I watch because i find it fascinating in terms of the photography talent of the director and i like the way he tells his story as well.Before it starts you see that he dedicated his film to 'Ebru' who is his lovely wife. Suddenly I had this question in my mind. Which one would feel better to be in a lifetime? Ebru or Nuri Bilge in this case ? The one to whom this great movie is dedicated to or the one who has the pleasure of dedicating such a great art of his to someone.
I guess art history is full of cases like that and we have the ones dedicated to and the ones who dedicate. If you were one of them whom do you think you would be? For me I could not find out and said what if I know and then I gave up suddenly.
